Unfortunately, roofing scammers are at it again. Storm victims can be easy targets to con-artists, posing as contractors, post-hail storms.
NBCDFW recently aired a story on this topic, warning consumers to do their due diligence when it comes to contractors. A good rule of thumb is to research your contractor before signing anything. Reputable roofing companies with a long history of great service should be easy to find by name, online. Check online reviews of the company and ask around. Your relatives, friends, and neighbors are great sources of information here. Use a local company. Often when storms it, it is common for contractors from other states to flock to the damage. They complete a bunch of projects and then are gone. However, if something goes wrong with your roof after replacement, it can be hard to remedy with a company not local to the area. Lastly, a contractor should NEVER ask you to pay a large sum of money up front. Do not fall victim to scammers. If you are in need of a honest company you can depend on, we would be honored to serve you. Complete our online form for a free estimate or give us a call, 817-453-8555.

This is HUGE for home owners to realize. Quality roofers NEVER ask for large sums of money upfront. We work off signed agreements and figure out payment options with you. I can't tell you how many times I was the 2nd roofer to show up after the client already got scammed. It's so rough because they're on edge the whole time and take out their frustration on me unfortunately. I know they're in pain, but it sucks getting the brunt of some bad roofers out there.

Roofing scams are such an unfortunate part of our business. It makes the whole industry look bad and they made a massive mess for me to clean up when a customer calls and needs me to fix the roofing service the scammer screwed them on. Please people, ask detailed questions before handing out any money to roofers. We understand and won't be upset by tons of questions.

Scammers are the worst. I can't stand hearing customers getting screwed over by some slick talking salesman who basically tricks people into giving their hard earned money away with no guarantee of great service.
